Nokia

London, United Kingdom

From its new North London headquarters, situated in a well-connected part of the city with national transport links, Nokia aims to attract and retain a younger talent pool. The three-story, 65,000-square-foot contemporary office building provides ground-floor showrooms and workspaces on upper floors. Natural light floods into a dramatic atrium entrance and conference/entertaining room, drawing visitors in. Through its strategy and design, Gensler established new ways of working for Nokia, creating flexible workspaces with a focus on the informal and accommodations for a range of group sizes and functions. The space incorporates Nokia branding; and design details exhibit the rough, raw and exposed qualities of the urban landscape.
