Wilson Sporting Goods’ new downtown Chicago headquarters celebrates the evolution of the storied brand to better meet the needs of today’s athletes. Color, light, and texture work together to evoke a strong sense of energy, pride, and achievement that starts in the schoolyard and carries through to the pinnacle of an elite athlete’s career. Moments of delight and whimsy are embedded throughout the space, whether in the golf tee wall depicting athletes, the legacy wall celebrating Wilson’s rich history, the scoreboard wrapped in Wrigley Field ivy, or the LED ‘neon’ Wilson logo that welcomes visitors at the front door. A mosaic of sports courts and field lines draw visitors to the cafe, where the Wilson ‘All Stars’ roster — a central feature where each team member has their own “baseball card” on display — showcases the people behind the brand.
