Chuck Rudalavage, AIA, LEED AP

Co‑Managing Director, Senior Associate

As Co-Managing Director of Gensler's Philadelphia office, Chuck works with clients who are catalysts for growth across the region's collaborative ecosystem and beyond, helping them to understand what’s next in strategy and design in order to fuel success. Chuck's career is focused on facilitating moments where education, health, and research intersect by creating phenomenal spaces that spur innovation, promote partnerships, and solve the world’s biggest challenges.

In this broader leadership role as well as his role as a regional Education leader, Chuck draws upon his background as an architect in the higher education arena. Over two decades exploring the spatial implications of changing pedagogy and technology on collegiate campuses and their associated built environment has provided a strong foundation for his current focus on this thought-provoking intersection. He continues to guide clients through their capital building expansions, with an emphasis on programming, master planning, and developing initiatives that underpin the strategic goals of the institution. To ensure success, he incorporates consensus-driven processes that rely upon research, data, engagement, and feedback from a wide range of stakeholders.
