Evan Gu, LEED® AP, RA

As a Technical Director in Gensler’s Chicago office, Evan focuses on leading his team to deliver excellent projects with a holistic approach to project work — from concept design to the construction administration phases. With over 30 years of experience, he has built his expertise in high-rise architecture, mixed-use, office, hotel, and campus projects, demonstrating technical capability in key Gensler projects, such as Shanghai Tower.

Evan holds the client relationship for major projects and over the years, he has also honed his leadership skills in managing architects and supervising contractors in large-scale projects. Evan is a National 1st Class Registered Architect. He received his Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Architecture from Southeast University, Nanjing, China.
