Jackson Metcalf is a global leader in Gensler’s Critical Facilities practice and the Industrial & Logistics leader for the North Central region. With nearly 20 years of experience at Gensler, he is a trusted advisor, known for delivering tailored solutions that seamlessly combine design excellence, operational performance, and sustainability.

While specializing in critical facilities, Jackson also brings extensive expertise to commercial office buildings, corporate campuses, and mixed-use developments. He excels in coordinating complex engineering systems, driving innovative, high-performance solutions that meet the unique demands of each project.

As a passionate advocate for sustainable design, Jackson has led numerous LEED Gold–certified data centers, pioneering energy-efficient strategies and advancing environmental stewardship. He is a sought-after speaker at industry conferences, where he shares his insights on the evolving landscape of sustainable data center design.

Jackson holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Iowa State University.
