Martin is an architect, urban designer, and project leader with over 25 years of experience delivering infrastructure projects across the U.K. and the Middle East. As a Project Director, Industrial Facilities and Energy Leader for Gensler’s Europe region, Martin has a proactive approach to design and passionately believes that design must be both functional and beautiful. He is a strategic thinker who motivates colleagues, consultants, clients, and stakeholders alike to achieve successful project outcomes.

Martin thrives in project design, with an understanding of how materials and environmental issues can inform and shape a project’s direction from the earliest stages. He enjoys a forensic approach to design — giving evidence at public enquiries and representing in support of client counsel. Martin brings a comprehensive understanding of the full process, from project pitches and client briefings through concept design to public consultation, statutory approvals, and technical deliveries.
