With over 20 years of experience spanning the public and private sectors, Tessa brings a unique blend of strategic thinking and creative vision to her role as Studio Director at Gensler. Tessa leads an interdisciplinary team of researchers, strategists, and designers, leveraging her expertise in program strategy development, system and product innovation, brand activation, and generative research. A native New Yorker who has made Seattle her home, Tessa has held pivotal account and strategy roles at several boutique agencies in Seattle, consistently driving innovation at the intersection of business strategy and social impact.

Her commitment to meaningful change extends beyond her professional work — she has served on the boards of AIGA and Seattle Youth Garden Works, and currently serves on the board of Seattle Amistad School, the only independent Spanish-English bilingual K-8 school in Seattle. Tessa holds an MBA in Sustainable Business from Presidio Graduate School and a BA in Art History and Gender Studies from Oberlin College.
