Aviation Leader, Principal
Tim is a Principal and Global Aviation Leader based in Gensler’s Los Angeles office. He co-leads the firm’s Aviation practice with responsibility for the planning, design, and delivery of regional, hub, and international airport terminal projects worldwide and in Gensler’s Southwest region.
Tim is a licensed architect with more than 35 years of experience managing complex, large-scale projects. Leading a dynamic team of over 50 designers and architects, he creates high-performance teams focused on client needs while delivering projects on time and on budget. Tim drives projects from concept to completion across national and international markets with a multi-faceted skillset spanning project management, strategic planning, design development, and construction documentation. His leadership consistently elevates client satisfaction in today’s fast-paced aviation sector, orchestrating seamless collaboration between clients and consultants, such as on San Diego International Airport’s New Terminal 1 project, for which Tim led the terminal design. Tim’s areas of expertise include domestic and international terminal planning and design, large hub terminals, regional terminals, executive terminals, hanger design and eVTOL/Vertiport design. Tim earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Houston.
