Wangjing Universal Creative Square

Gensler Beijing creatively transformed a decaying warehouse into a vibrant office building, designed to attract Wangjing’s top companies and add to the growing number of mixed-use developments in the heart of Beijing. The Wangjing Universal Creative Square repositioning project, which is conveniently located close to the Metro Line 14 and adjacent to Wangjing Capital Mall, creates a new business landmark in the central business district. While upgrading the building to meet modern workplace needs and expectations, Gensler cut out a substantial amount of floor slabs at the center to bring transparency into the center of the building. The repositioned office building integrates work, entertainment, culture, and business through reconstructed interiors and reorganized business and supporting services to attract and build a future business community.
