CHALLENGE
Apache Corporation sought to redefine its workplace environment to better reflect its brand identity and support evolving employee needs. The existing office model was siloed and lacked the flexibility and inspiration needed to energize a modern workforce. With the goal of attracting top talent and supporting return-to-work efforts, Apache sought a headquarters that fosters collaboration, reflects its values, and creates a meaningful experience for employees across all levels.

SOLUTION
Spanning across 14 floors, the new 350,000-square-foot headquarters is designed as a dynamic exploration of contrast between day and night, activity and reflection. Work floors are vibrant and colorful, while executive and conference spaces evoke calm and serve as places to strategize. The design breaks down traditional silos by offering flexible work zones, private offices, and collaborative clusters. Immersive palettes inspired by nature, tactile materials, and biophilic elements create a curated, sensory-rich environment. Technology is seamlessly integrated to support hybrid work, and sustainable design choices, like open ceilings and reduced carpeting, lower the office’s carbon footprint while enhancing spatial volume.
