Coty

New York, New York

In consolidating multiple locations into a single five-story headquarters in the Empire State Building, beauty leader Coty looked to Gensler to increase its functionality within a reduced footprint while redefining its workplace to support future trends. The umbrella theme of connectivity led to a lifestyle-oriented design scheme based on residential cues such as neighborhoods, collaborative lounges and quiet rooms.  A central glass staircase connects communal amenity hubs on each floor. Winding throughout the reception and conference center, a product display gallery emulates the décor of a French boutique. The interior’s clean and elegant aesthetic reflects Coty’s brand without upstaging the work that occurs there.
