Challenged with designing a fully functional, state-of-the-art operatory medical teaching facility and showroom space, dental manufacturer Dentsply Sirona — the world’s largest manufacturer of professional dental solutions — engaged Gensler to create a transformative experience for their audience of dental students and professionals. The team focused on storytelling and impactful presentation within a museum-like series of galleries that connects people, products, and technology. Back-lit “x-ray” environmental graphics, clean signage and wayfinding, and simple-yet-refined product displays tell the manufacturer’s story of innovation in a visually unified and approachable format. The experience blends customer engagement with product by seamlessly integrating areas for hands-on training, hospitality, and product display.
