Financial Technology Firm

Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands

In relocating its headquarters from Hong Kong to Grand Cayman, this global financial services firm enlisted Gensler to translate high‑performance fintech culture into a Caribbean setting. The brief was clear: build a future‑ready workplace that feels unmistakably local.

Spanning 22,000 square feet, the new headquarters draws its identity from the Cayman Islands and features a striking hand-painted mangrove mural that runs the length of the interior concrete core. The artful detail is a nod to the client’s commitment to preserving local mangroves and a symbolic reminder of its rooted values. Nearby, an interactive abacus crafted from custom‑blown glass beads playfully bridges ancient accounting traditions with the future of finance. Programmed areas throughout the workspace are designed to support every facet of the business, including an executive suite with dedicated reception and amenities, a reconfigurable broadcast room, and a large boardroom with an ensuite lounge.
