Hulu’s new customer experience center expands the company’s presence in San Antonio to take advantage of recruitment opportunities while providing room to grow in the vibrant, close-knit culture of the city. The design divides the floorplates into quadrants, each tying back to the city in their own way with large-scale wall graphics. Not only does this help avoid a sea of workstations, it also acts as a wayfinding device for employees. The graphics themselves draw inspiration from San Antonio’s rich heritage, using vibrant colors and nods to local cultural icons. Mexican papel picado inspired graphics activate the walls with rich blues, purples, and reimagined Hulu-branded colors. Art and culture play an important role in establishing the aesthetic, pulling everything together into a cohesive, fun, and grounded space.
