Lower Broadway Master Plan

Gensler developed a mixed-use master plan at Lower Broadway that will create a true destination development in San Antonio. Phase 1 buildings are currently in design and will connect Pearl Parkway across Broadway to Alamo Street and into the district. Due to its proximity to an established residential neighborhood, the development is slated to be 50% residential, with a mix of housing typologies designed to attract both renter and owner demographics. Other program elements include retail, hotel, office, and entertainment in the form of a movie theater, all tied together by public green spaces to create a sense of place, and draw people from the surrounding area. Gensler worked with GrayStreet Partners through a process that included community forums and consensus building.
