New Giza University

As a brand-new academic institution, New Giza University sought to create a statement to demonstrate its credibility in providing an exceptional education for students in Egypt. Gensler designed the university’s Phase 1 with the goal of embodying the University Board and Presidents’ forward-looking vision for Egypt to be a beacon of knowledge and learning, in line with its illustrious past. Gensler leveraged its expertise in education design, drawing upon the firm's global network of experts and research insights. The design team utilised proven benchmarks and space guidelines to design and develop an innovative medical school facility. Upon completion, Phase 1 serves as a clear testament to the university’s vison, ethos, and drive, creating a learning environment that has allowed NGU to partner with world-class institutions, and in turn, deliver world-class learning in Egypt.
