Relativity Space Headquarters

Gensler is partnering with Relativity Space to create the “factory of the future” for its software-defined, 3D-printed rocket and propulsion systems that are set to revolutionize how rockets are built and flown. The project includes the adaptive reuse of a 1M+ square foot facility, formerly home to Boeing’s C-17 Globemaster, which will be transformed into a new plant, fusing additive manufacturing, autonomous robotics, and artificial intelligence to support Relativity Space’s vision of upgrading “humanity’s industrial base on Earth and on Mars.” The project is the latest in Gensler’s focus on designing workspaces for next-generation private ventures reinventing the traditional space and aerospace market.
