Tesoro Corporation Headquarters

Tesoro’s new corporate headquarters campus, designed by Gensler, is located on a 40-acre wooded site in the hills north of San Antonio. The facility includes 600,000 square feet of office space and a 2,400-car garage divided between two buildings. Native Texas Pearl Limestone highlights major architectural features on both the exterior and interiors. A limestone structure forms the main “Stonehenge” entrance and leads into the grand double-height lobby connecting the two buildings with a stunning, three-level monumental stair. The buildings’ curves allow sweeping views of the Hill Country site, and create interior curves that add visual interest to the main pathways. Amenities such as a cafeteria and a fitness center are strategically placed to provide direct access to the outdoors for additional dining space and a jogging trail.
