In an ever-evolving world, the value of our workplace experiences and our shared sense of purpose has never been more important. Gensler’s recognition in 2023 as the #1 architecture firm in the world by Interior Design magazine and as the #1 architecture firm in the U.S. by Architectural Record and Building Design+Construction, is because of our incredible, talented people. We rank among Training Magazine’s “125 Top Training Firms” and Building Design+Construction’s “Best AEC Firms to Work For.” We are also proud to have been recognized by Fast Company as one of the 100 Best Workplaces for Innovators.
In every role and team across the firm, each of our 6,000+ design professionals, strategists, innovators, researchers, specialists, and leaders, is driven by a shared purpose — to create a better world through the power of design. Led by our co-CEOs Andy Cohen and Diane Hoskins, our leaders in all 33 of our practice areas are recognized for their design excellence and thought leadership, and are actively engaged in community and industry organizations, design juries, press, and events. We believe in growing our firm by investing in our people. As an employee-owned company, we are proud to celebrate our accomplishments together and recognize the significance and impact of our shared success, including through annual bonus opportunities. Our approach to compensation and benefits echoes our commitment to collaboration and a one-firm firm philosophy. While some rewards and benefits are based on role, location, and years with the firm, here are some of the great benefits we provide at Gensler.
We offer a compensation package that includes an annual review of salary and twice annual bonus opportunities to reward those who demonstrate exceptional results. In addition, we recognize the importance of preparing for the future, and we’ve designed a compensation approach that includes participation in the growth and profits of the firm through profit sharing, employee stock ownership and/or stock appreciation programs. These plans, combined with our salary and bonus programs, make our approach to compensation one of the most competitive in our industry and help put our people on the road to a financially secure future.
To demonstrate the value we place on our people, Gensler offers a broad and comprehensive benefits package to our employees and their eligible family members. Below are just some of the benefits we offer to full-time and part-time U.S. team members working at least 24 hours per week.
