Duncan is a recognised leader in urban transformation, serving as Co-Managing Principal for Gensler’s Europe region. Spearheading the firm’s expansion across Europe, he has led the growth of the business and established offices in key markets such as Germany and France. He has also played a pivotal role in shaping some of Gensler’s most significant architectural projects worldwide. As a member of the Board of Directors and Management Committee, Duncan is responsible for overseeing the firm’s work in the Cities sector and leveraging its expertise to deliver innovative solutions for clients in a rapidly evolving global landscape.

As a driving force behind Gensler’s Office Developers practice, Duncan has cultivated a deep understanding of the trends shaping urban transformation, the future of cities, and the evolving nature of work. He is a sought-after speaker, sharing insights at major global affairs and real estate events — including COP and MIPIM — engaging in critical conversations on topics such as the innovation economy and the regeneration of cities as a catalyst for economic growth.

Duncan is a longstanding member of the Urban Land Institute and the British Council for Offices. He earned a B.A. with Honours and Dip. Arch from the University of Liverpool and spent a year abroad at the University of Washington in Seattle.

Duncan assume son rôle de co-directeur de la branche européenne de Gensler avec une véritable passion pour la conception, la stratégie, et l’innovation. Il vit et travaille à Londres depuis plus de vingt ans, et il dirige le développement du marché européen et l’installation de nos nouvelles implantations sur les marchés importants en Allemagne et à Paris. Il a co-dirigé la création de l’atelier de Pratique des développeurs de bâtiments commerciaux de bureaux, au sein de Gensler, et a acquis une large connaissance des tendances et problématiques liées aux interactions entre les habitants et leurs villes ou encore leurs environnements de travail. De plus, il a été en charge de quelques uns des projets les plus significatifs parmi les références de notre firme. Duncan est membre du Comité de Direction de Gensler, et est en charge de l’optimisation au meilleur niveau de la plateforme mondiale de notre entreprise pour nos clients.

Il a étudié à l’Université de Washington à Seattle, il a obtenu un B.A. avec Distinction, et il est architecte diplômé de l’Université de Liverpool. Duncan est un membre actif du BCO (British Council of Offices – Conseil Britannique des Bureaux) et de l’ULI (Urban Land Institute-Institut du Paysage urg-bain), et intervient régulièrement sur les thèmes liés à la conception de bureaux et l’anticipation du futur de nos villes.
