Jacob Simons

Jacob is a Principal in Gensler Seattle’s office, leading a team of researchers, strategists, and designers, and offering thought leadership across a diverse array of clients and industries. As the Strategy Practice Director for Gensler’s Northwest region, he integrates his background in social science and design to tackle a host of complex problems and opportunities — What is the future of work? How might we elevate wellbeing, culture, and belonging in organizations? What relational dynamics and leadership behaviors are required for teams to thrive creatively? How might we accelerate learning and navigate complex disruptions and decisions?

Day-to-day, Jacob’s responsibilities include building partner relations, strategic advisory, facilitation of research, and elevating the impact of Gensler’s global Strategy practice. Jacob’s core mission is to elevate human creative potential and, in turn, create a lasting impact on the most pressing challenges faced in our communities today.
