Confidential Biotech Client

San Francisco, California

This biotech client implemented a “New Way of Working” model to its administrative office areas, which involved assigning groups of employees to “neighborhoods” without assigned seating. With the understanding that not everybody is in the office at any given time, the employees are assigned at 1.4 users per workstation. A variety of work settings are provided, including open office workstation, one- and two-person breakaway offices, team rooms, and various soft seating settings such as booths and laptop bars. This project is the first permanent rollout of the “New Way of Working” platform in the lower campus and the design and layout received very favorable reviews throughout the organization.
