Mass General Brigham Integrated Care Facility

Rooted in a community setting, Mass General Brigham’s ambulatory care facility advances the concept of relationship-based patient care by providing an environment that fosters meaningful and productive connections. In addition to ambulatory surgery and comprehensive imaging, the medical facility provides a range of services, including primary care, behavioral health, and specialty care. Conceived as a gradient, spaces shift from active to quiet as guests ascend within the building. The integration of modular and sustainability principles into the planning and design will allow the building to flex and adapt over time. Spaces for group meetings and therapy sessions, yoga and meditation, and community wellness-based offerings were also incorporated into the design so that the facilities may become a resource for the healthy, as well as the sick.
