McCann Worldgroup Brand Design

McCann Worldgroup partnered with Gensler to help consolidate four separate offices, with 12 different London-based agencies, under one roof — creating a workspace that is conducive to collaboration, cohesion, and creative thinking whilst celebrating each agency’s specialism, individuality, and independence. Using an analogy of “The Manor” — a design narrative which manifests itself throughout — the Gensler team approached the project as if creating a home. The goal was to simulate a place where the “family” could come together, but — like a manor — offer a variety of space types for modes of work. This resulted in a series of witty brand interactions: from knights, team portraits, and remixes of Old Masters paintings to distinctive shape-coded wayfinding inspired by ceramic tiles found in stately homes.
