Xiaomi Beijing Headquarters

Beijing, China

Xiaomi Mobile Internet Industrial Park, a 348,000-square-meter headquarters spanning across eight buildings, marks a critical moment in the evolution and growth of Xiaomi, a young company that is already a top player in the smartphone and technology industries. Leveraging its expertise in designing collaborative, research and client-driven spaces, Gensler created a workplace that is designed to encourage creativity, spark innovation, support future growth, and reflect the DNA of this young game-changing tech company.

Inspired by Xiaomi’s rich line of products, the headquarters design is clean and simple yet highly functional with a slightly industrial aesthetic and pops of color. Wide-open areas and more intimate spaces are separated by glass partitions in Xiaomi’s signature orange with complementing blue and green colors — these not only meet functional needs but also add eye-catching visual elements. Xiaomi Beijing Headquarters features a variety of workspaces including collaborative offices and conference spaces, as well as a range of experiences like an interactive brand wall, a gallery showcasing the brand's history, and a flagship store in the lobby. Amenity spaces are distributed throughout the vibrant and energetic workplace, including a giant canteen area, a gym, and a large, multi-function space that can be used as a basketball or badminton court or to host events.
