Kate’s fascination with people and why they do things the way they do has fueled her 30-year career in strategy for organizations, places, and brands. As a leader of Gensler’s strategy practice, she specializes in organizational change, workplace strategy, brand strategy, and experience design for mixed-use districts. Kate is one of the firm’s most experienced facilitators, engaging small and large groups of executives, employees, and customers in discovery and consensus-building for great project outcomes.
Kate has been a featured speaker, writer, and juror on design thinking, workplace dynamics, and brand for groups such as the University of Maryland Smith School, SEGD, CoreNet, IFMA, AIA, ASLA, and NAIOP. A graduate of the University of Virginia, Kate has been an alumni coach to students through the UVa Career Services department and is active in Gensler’s HBCU mentorship program.
