Al Tayyar Mixed Use

Based on the success of lifestyle destination developments in the Middle East, Gensler was approached by Al Tayyar Group to create a 3 million-square-foot mixed-use center in the northern part of Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Al Tayyar Mixed Use Development aims to create a lifestyle destination for all, from nearby neighbourhoods and the wider region. It is a retail development that encourages walking, relaxing, and spending quality time with family and friends. The Development will have high street retail, general services (hairdressers, dentists, and pediatrics), family entertainment, parks, hotels, and conference facilities. After a visioning session with Al Tayyar Group, Gensler produced several suitable master plans for the site. The final master plan consists of seven villages, two hotels, and a central park. Each village has its own unique urban design and architectural character.
