Deerfield Headquarters and CURE. Innovation Campus

New York, New York

Committed to advancing healthcare through financial investment, research, and philanthropy, all with the end goal of curing disease, Deerfield engaged Gensler to help realize a world-class facility for an ecosystem of scientists with access to unparalleled resources, high-quality infrastructure support capabilities, and curated collaboration spaces along with Deerfield’s new headquarters. The Gensler team modernized 345 Park Avenue South into a vertical sciences campus, creating an empowering workplace with 11 floors of lab-ready spaces to allow life science, digital health, and tech-enabled companies to collaborate or work privately alongside other innovators.

Known as CURE., the building is located in New York’s entrepreneurial “Silicon Alley,” providing state-of-the-art technology and amenities, including wet labs, dry labs, workplace zones, a rooftop multi-purpose space, and an educational facility. The vision, program, design, and implementation of this project demonstrate a new model for how companies can innovate together to solve big challenges in a reimagined building.
