As pharmaceutical companies compete for top talent, the workplace has become a critical differentiator. It needs to reflect a company’s values, support well-being, and give employees a reason to show up. For Sanofi, that imperative came into sharp focus with a planned relocation of its New Jersey headquarters from a suburban campus to the heart of downtown Morristown. The move demanded a flagship that could translate the company’s global people-first strategy into a place employees genuinely want to be.
Every design decision reflects Sanofi’s global people-first workplace strategy. Unassigned desks, lounge style seating, collaborative hubs, sensory-friendly areas, and indoor–outdoor spaces offer employees choice in how and where they work. Amenities, such as a rooftop terrace, wellness suites, and an on-site clinic, support a holistic employee experience. Hospitality Leads provide personalized, concierge-style support, ensuring these offerings feel intuitive and fully activated.
Sanofi M Station sets a new benchmark for employee-focused design. The headquarters supports sustainable commuting and access to local amenities, weaving the workplace into downtown Morristown’s civic fabric. Anchored by The Morris Proper, a ground-floor public-facing restaurant, the project strengthens neighborhood connections. Targeting LEED Gold and WELL Gold certifications, Sanofi M Station positions the company as a leader in redefining what a sustainable, community-oriented workplace can be.
