Whitelaw Twining Law Corporation

Vancouver, Canada

In renovating its 24th- and 25th-floor offices in downtown Vancouver, insurance law firm Whitelaw Twining sought to optimize the working experience of its staff, and showcase for clients the integrity and capability of the organization. Accomplished without relocating its people, the renovation blurred boundaries between areas to allow for a flexible communal space that would accommodate large groups, break down barriers between lawyer and client and provide stunning views for all. In standardizing office sizes, selected existing walls were strategically retained during demolition, and prime corner offices were replaced by group collaboration areas to encourage higher performance.
