Jill Wittnebel Promoted to Managing Director
LOS ANGELES – Gensler, the leading global architecture, design, and planning firm, announces the promotion of Jill Wittnebel to Managing Director of Gensler Los Angeles. Jill is a Principal and global leader for the firm’s Brand Design practice. She has been an integral part of the leadership and growth of Brand Design in the Los Angeles office.
In her new role, she will lead collaboratively with John Adams, AIA, and Michael White, AIA. Jill brings to the leadership team incredible business acumen, creative design thinking, a keen ability to connect with people, and mentorship to colleagues.
Jill has 29 years of experience developing programs including brand strategy and identity design, experience design, print and digital communications, environmental graphics, and signage and wayfinding.
Her client partnerships span industries from hospitality, including Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Marriott Autograph Collection, to consumer goods and services companies including Netflix, Apple, Delta Air Lines, Estee Lauder, and Coca-Cola as well as financial services firms like Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse. Jill has also balanced her experience as an insight specialist, brand strategist, and an accomplished project director to play a key role in real estate positioning, product innovations, and corporate transformations.
Prior to Gensler, Jill held roles as Executive Director of Client Relationships at Carbone Smolan Agency, NY; Director of Operations of Studio Red at Rockwell Group, NY; and co-founder of W+CO Design Studio, NY. Jill is a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.
