As workplace expectations continue to evolve, companies must create environments that not only attract employees back to the office but also enhance well-being and community. Curated amenities and collaboration spaces can incentivize employees to return to the office by offering something they can’t get at home. Set in one of the first buildings constructed in Century City, this global professional services firm needed to balance the site’s legacy and Southern California setting with a contemporary workspace that would offer opportunities for collaboration and connection.
To differentiate the office experience, the design team prioritized unique spaces that encourage collaboration and social engagement. Two stacks of internal stairs connect multiple levels of curated lounge spaces, each with a distinct theme, such as the Tea Room, the Art Gallery, and the Cabana. Open workspaces and floor-to-ceiling glass office fronts maximize daylight and meeting rooms offer creative inspiration from Los Angeles’ diverse neighborhoods. A dedicated gym, auditorium, tailored lounges and pantries, and a roof top terrace with pickleball and golf simulator spur connections.
The transformed workplace redefines what an office can be — an engaging, dynamic environment that attracts and retains top talent. Thoughtfully designed spaces encourage collaboration, strengthen company culture, and enhance employee well-being. The integration of art, natural light, and curated experiences fosters a sense of belonging, making the office a destination rather than an obligation.
