When Toyota relocated its North American headquarters from California to Texas, there were a lot of boxes to check — and pack — to get the job done, including the logistics of moving 4,800 employees. While the new headquarters was under construction, the real estate and facilities team used Wisp’s interactive scenario planning tools to finalize departmental adjacencies in the new space. Wisp was then used to create the final seating assignments and communicate to the move team where each employee’s belongings should go. Today, all Toyota employees benefit from wayfinding in Wisp — using it locate colleagues, conference rooms, collaboration spaces, and more. The facilities team relies on Wisp to manage employee churn with move management tools and access real time reporting for key metrics.
