JLABS @ TMC

Houston, Texas

Designed in partnership with the renowned Texas Medical Center and Johnson & Johnson Innovation, the Gensler team transformed a windowless, 50-year-old former Nabisco cookie factory into a vibrant space for research, creativity, and connection. JLABS @ TMC blends a state-of-the-art laboratory environment with a hospitality-style collaboration and event space. The incubator provides emerging life science companies with the resources necessary to perform proprietary research and propel their life-changing discoveries into the marketplace. The incubator can host up to 50 biomedical start-up companies with the sophisticated resources they would find in a major R&D company, like modular wet lab units, singular bench tops, specialized equipment, and co-working space.
