Bank of America Tower

Houston, Texas

Located in downtown Houston at the crossroad of all major underground tunnels, Bank of America Tower is designed to redefine the pedestrian experience and create a dynamic downtown experience unique to Houston. Working closely with developer, Skanska, Gensler designed a two-level, open-air lobby that exposes the underground tunnel system and connects the street level to retail and dining. Framing the urban space of downtown, the high-performance, 35-story building affords a highly leasable floor plate and features a welcoming entry plaza and outdoor seating. Awarded LEED® 4v Platinum pre-certification, the building features daylight harvesting technology, a 40% parking reduction, tenant metering, alternative vehicle charging stations and a rainwater collecting system.
