BP Chicago, 30 South Wacker

Chicago, Illinois

Consolidating its trading operations in a move to downtown Chicago, BP sought to build a state-of-the-art trading floor and workplace that could embody the “energy” of its brand around guiding principles of “urban,” “exchange” and “progression.” Parks, plazas and “markets” encourage everyday exchange while progressions of light carry energy throughout the space. Generous conference space and huddle rooms accommodate both collaboration and focused activities, which are connected by a dramatic bridge spanning over the trading floor. The LEED® Platinum-certified project gives attention to light, air, safety and relaxation, demonstrating BP’s commitment to nurturing and sustaining its people.
