Whole Foods, the world's largest retailer of natural and organic foods, sought to move from its cramped regional headquarters to a new office that would allow for future growth. Addressing the company’s desire for a new concept that would support future growth and successfully communicate the Whole Foods Market brand and story, Gensler developed a program of environmental graphics and fixturing focused on high-traffic and visitor-facing areas that would engage and inspire Whole Foods employees and visitors. The resulting three-dimensional brand experience creates a visual impact reflective of the company's focus on community, nutrition and environmental initiatives as well as its dedication to sustaining people, product, culture and values.
