The design drivers for this project – home, heritage and fashion – created not only a rich working environment for Dressbarn staff, but one that addresses the roots of fashion design. The defining horizontal and vertical design elements were inspired by the composition of fabric by warp and weft. Warm elements like reclaimed wood and inviting spaces create a comfortable work environment that sustains the company’s heritage and history in a modern work environment. From living rooms to dens and libraries and eclectic mix of of spaces and furniture also supports the creativity and collaboration critical to the company’s shift from distribution to the creation of original designs.
