ITC Noida

Delhi, India

Initially designed as a luxury hotel, this project was changed to high-end offices during design development.  While the massing and building envelope of the hotel design were retained, adjustments needed to adapt to an office structural grid led to a complete reinterpretation of the façade, which incorporates a vertical-fin shading system that responds, through subtle gradation, to the region’s climatic extremes and provides the inside with varying degrees of openness. Interior modules are flexible to adapt to different uses—more open for public uses such as retail and bars; more enclosed for private uses such as services and kitchens.
