Lina is a passionate advocate in creating a better world through the power of design with sustainable integrity in her role as a Global Design Resilience Leader for Gensler's Government & Defense practice. Using her interdisciplinary education and experience, she focuses on incorporating energy and sustainable strategies into architectural design with a unique systems way of thinking. Since joining Gensler, Lina has helped to grow the Sustainability practice by creating energy and carbon modeling tools to assist clients in realizing net zero energy and net zero carbon potential with on-site renewables. Lina was recognized as one of Green Biz's 30 Under 30 class of 2021. She received her Bachelor's of Science, Environmental Studies from the University of California, San Diego, and her Master's of Environmental Management from Duke University.
