As Gensler Australia’s Design Director for Architecture, Ken brings over 30 years of experience in projects across mixed-use, hospitality, culture, and multi-residential sectors. Ken is a multi-award-winning architect and the recipient of five Good Design Awards and has been closely involved in two Sulman Award-winning projects.
Ken’s expertise lies in his rare combination of international architectural design pedigree with a high level of understanding and experience of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), Design for Manufacture, Assembly & Disassembly (DFMAD), and Mass Timber. As Design Purpose Co-Leader for Gensler’s Asia Pacific and Middle East region, Ken further leads the region’s thought leadership and market strategy around the “why,” or the purpose of our project designs.
In parallel with professional practice, Ken is involved in ongoing applied research into DFMAD as Adjunct Professor at the University of Sydney.
