As Co-Regional Managing Principal of Gensler's North Central region, Bill oversees four offices, their teams, and their clients. Since joining the firm in 1996, Bill’s design leadership has transformed global organizations, companies, and communities into meaningful economic and social contributors by expanding conventional design practice to re-frame their challenges and deliver results. He has served in a variety of leadership roles at Gensler, including Office Director in Detroit, Chair of the Design Leadership Taskforce, a rotating member of the Management Committee, and most recently as a Firmwide Client Relationships Leader. He is a member of many professional and community organizations, including the American Institute of Architects, the Engineering Society of Detroit, the Urban Land Institute, and The Detroit Institute of Arts. Bill received both his Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan.
