As Principal and Managing Director of Gensler Shanghai, Xiaomei has more than 20 years of experience in architecture and interior projects across the Asia Pacific region. She serves on Gensler’s Board of Directors and Management Committee and has been instrumental in advancing Gensler’s Tall Building practice, including acting as the project director for the 632-meter-high Shanghai Tower, China’s tallest building. Xiaomei previously served as Gensler's Asia Regional Leader for Project Management and Leader of the Education and Aviation & Transportation Practice Areas. She is a member of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, the Urban Land Institute and the Council on International Exchange Affairs of Tall Buildings of the Architectural Society of China. Xiaomei has been invited to speak at events such as the The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Asia Future Cities Summit.
