Hiro is a chartered architect and spearheads the firm’s railway transport and infrastructure projects while adding to its global aviation and transportation expertise with more than 20 years of architectural design and project leadership experience. An award-winning authority on the design of regenerative transport hubs, Hiro is one of the leading figures in the U.K.’s transportation sector with a portfolio that includes a range of major domestic and international projects. He was a leading figure in the delivery of some of London’s most high-profile schemes, including the award-winning modernization of King’s Cross Station, the extensions of the East London and Northern lines and Bond Street Station. Hiro also has a wealth of international experience, having acted as Chief Architect of metros and regenerative transport hubs in Moscow, Delhi and Dhaka. A member of the U.K.’s HS2 Design Panel and an expert panel member for the Greater London Authority, Hiro advocates transport architecture as a crucial cultural and economic catalyst, helping shape and influence the future evolution of towns and cities for the benefit of all. He earned a Master of Arts with First Class Honours, Summa Cum Laude, in Architecture and a Distinction in Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture from the University of Edinburgh, U.K. Hiro is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation, U.K.
