Rob is Co-Regional Managing Principal for Gensler’s Southwest Region and ensures that each Gensler office is making a positive impact in its local community. He uses his expertise in design and city making to address the critical issues that affect the world today, such as housing the homeless. Rob is collaborating with our cities and the private sector to develop innovative solutions around temporary bridge shelter and permanent supportive housing.
Rob’s impact is evident in the renaissance of our cities as live, work, and play neighborhoods. His work includes the Ritz-Carlton Hotel & Residences and JW Marriott at L.A. LIVE, Metropolis, C3 in Culver City, and ICON at Sunset Bronson Studios in Hollywood. The AIA California Council (AIACC) awarded Rob its Presidential Citation for changing the face of architecture in Los Angeles, and Coro Southern California presented Rob with the Crystal Eagle Award for civic leadership.
Rob is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects and a member of the Urban Land Institute. He serves on the Boards of Gensler, the Los Angeles Business Council, Central City Association of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, Town Hall Los Angeles, World Trade Center Los Angeles, and the Jonathan Club.
