Tom is a global leader of Gensler’s Residential practice, based in Los Angeles. Tom’s experience is derived from his time living, working, and studying in cities around the globe. He believes that creating walkable, verdant and mixed-use neighborhoods are key to positively improving our environment, our economies, and our social well-being. With nearly 20 years of experience, he has designed more than 10,000 dwelling units and 500,000 square feet of creative office & retail space in projects with a combined construction cost of more than $3 billion. He also designed and developed two award-winning adaptive re-use loft projects in Los Angeles. Tom holds a five-year Bachelor of Architecture from USC and is a member of the City of Los Angeles Housing Element Update Task Force.
