A Co-Managing Director of Gensler Austin, Ed is a former Firmwide Leader of Gensler’s Hospitality Practice, with experience that ranges from intimate 100-key hotels to 4,000-key resorts and urban convention center hotels. He has designed more than 50 hotels worldwide, totaling 30 million square feet and 28,000 keys. Among his notable projects are the Gaylord National Hotel & Convention Center, the Sands Parisian Macau, Fairmont Austin, Pacific Gateway, and the ExxonMobil and Halliburton Corporate Campuses. A registered architect and interior designer, Ed holds a degree in environmental design from Texas A&M University. Ed is also a long-time supporter of the Boy Scouts of America at the local and national levels.
