Working under the umbrella of one larger client, Gensler was challenged to create a workplace for two companies with disparate cultures, business models and work styles. The resulting cohesive design incorporates a transition between two adjacent floors. The entry floor houses a blend of private offices and formal conference rooms that are unified by a neutral palette with stone and wood panelling. A connecting stair leads to a shared café with vivid colors and accents that set the tone for the rest of the floor. Private offices are traded in for perimeter open workstations and huddle rooms that create opportunities for collaboration and impromptu gatherings.
