Nestled between Lake Union and Interstate 5, The Forest will become one of the most visible office buildings in Seattle. Amenities are located in the middle of the building, granting tenants and visitors sweeping views of the lake, Olympic Mountains, and Space Needle. The elevator core is off-set to allow for a greater lease depth on the Lake Union side which provides maximum flexibility for tenants. The building was influenced by the forests of the Pacific Northwest, with abstract “tree trunks” that wrap around the amenity levels. The scalloped facade panels were influenced by the water wake patterns left by the boats and float planes. Outdoor spaces on the amenity levels and roof provide tenants with additional spaces for work and play.
