Entrada

Culver City, California

As part of the dynamic transformation of Culver City, Entrada emerges as a new mixed-use office development that invites tenants to immerse themselves in a vertical creative campus. Following the area’s rapid urban development, which has been spurred by increased residential demand and the boom of tech and media companies, Gensler worked with the client to create an 11-story office building design that offers a modern take on the workplace.

To build on the creative market growth in Culver City, the mixed-use office building’s design is bold, eye-catching, and resilient, with distinguishing elements such as cascading terraces along both the northern and southern sides. The all-glass building concept brings in natural light and offers impressive cityscape views. The design carves away portions of the facade to enhance connectivity between the indoor and outdoor workspaces, effectively making the outdoor terraces an extension of the working environment, rather than just a social amenity deck. This direct connection to the outdoors establishes a sense of place and meets the evolving needs of tenants, as employees are spending more time collaborating while in the office.

Entrada offers over 280,000 square feet of versatile indoor and outdoor spaces, including 10,000 square feet of street-level retail, parking for over 1,000 cars, and a podium adorned with local artwork and native landscaping. With a commitment to sustainability and focus on occupant well-being, Entrada is targeting LEED Gold and Fitwell status.
